About us:
The SURFONETRIP surfing school is located on the best beaches of Sri Lanka — the south coast (from Unawatuna to Weligama) and the east coast (Arugam Bay). There are ideal conditions for surfing all year round: soft sand, warm water and waves for any level. We have been teaching surfing to adults and children for over 5 years. Our instructors are licensed professionals from Russia and Sri Lanka who speak English. They know how to make training safe and effective.
How we teach:
Individual approach — the program is selected for your level: from the first steps on the board to complex maneuvers.Maximum practice — theory + straight into the water, under the strict supervision of the instructor. Photo and video analysis — we help analyze mistakes and mark progress!
Photos and videos:
Each lesson is not only about skills, but also about the joy of conquering the waves. We share the best moments on social networks and send students their photos/videos after classes.

Denis' experience:
More than 5 years of teaching surfing in the best locations in the world:
- Worked in surf camps in Sri Lanka (Hikkaduwa, Mirissa) Taught surfing in Kamchatka (experience working in cold water and extreme conditions)
Education and Certification:
- Completed the course “Surfing. Level I” by the legendary Pedro Barbudo, one of the most demanding coaches in Europe “Theory and methodology of training in the sport of ‘surfing’” (initial and training stages)

- Prize-winner of the St. Petersburg Championships: 2nd place (2019, longboard), 3rd place (2020, shortboard)
- Worked in surf schools in Sri Lanka, teaching Russian-speaking students.
